“Peter $un continues to keep it 100 in 2020 with his brand new single “100 Proof” released on August 20. With a laid back and lofi/trap beat headlining a funky synth, the impressive feature from Guapdad 4000 ties the whole track together through clever word play and a constantly switching flow. His vocal tone gives that mainstream trap-singing sound…”

Enchanting strings and surgically plucked guitar notes lull the listener into the melodic fabric of the track before slapping them across the face with a criminally smooth bassline. During a summer chock full of canceled concerts and delayed releases, singer-songwriter Karina Magallon released her debut pop single “Feel So Alive”, a feel good song that almost seems created in a different year.
Raised in a Panamanian-American home in Houston, Texas and now based in Belmont University at Nashville, Tennessee, Magallon has found a unique combination of places to call home. By the same token, her mix of Latin and American pop influences gives her sound an intriguing flavor that shines bright in “Feel So Alive”. The upbeat lyrics, while certainly suggestive of a romantic partner, seem to be left purposefully ambiguous in order to capture the imagination of whoever's listening. As Magallon describes “Feel So Alive” on spotify, the song is “about expressing how someone makes you feel alive and happy in this world” - whether that be “a significant other, family or friend”. And to be honest, that’s exactly the cut of music we all need as we move into late summer. As social distancing marches on, it’s vitally important to think about all the friends and loved ones we cherish for bringing light to our lives and vice versa. Magallon’s lyrical subject may be ambiguous, but her message is clear, touching and positive. While the song’s message might be simplistic, “Feel So Alive” is greatly aided by the confident voice of its singer and the powerful pop beat. That’s the song’s strength; it’s addictively charming and contagiously happy in a very stressed world, making Magallon easy to listen to and even easier to hit replay.
“Keenon Rush is a “Big-Money King.” His new music video, “Make Sense,” pays homage to the ever-fleeting chase of the bag through a retro-fitted, thriller-noir lens that portrays the rising Atlanta-MC as a devilishly clever organized-crime lord of a past era, narrowly escaping Undercover federal agents all while rocking an extremely fly trenchcoat. Director Christopher Carson utilizes…”
