Happy Nuance Friday! We hope you’re enjoying the start of the super weekend. Today, we’ve got some excellent new releases from some emerging new voices and old friends—from late-night indie anthems to soul-stirring vocal performances.

In Color — “Big Deal

Nashville-based alternative pop band In Color releases vulnerable, cinematic new anthem, “Big Deal” via Big Loud Rock. Co-produced by the band and Joey Moi, the shoegaze-leaning track captures the emotional highs and lows of a late-night argument with dreamy melodies and thick, distorted riffs. Maintaining the momentum from their 2025 breakout hit, “Headlines,” In Color is definitely a band to watch in 2026.

TRXY! — “You Said”

Southern Virginia shoegaze pioneer TRXY! drops atmospheric new track, “You Said,” the latest single from his upcoming debut album, Drowning in Bliss. To learn more about TRXY!, check out his recent interview with Nuance here
