For the tastemakers out there who believe in this new kind of magazine and want to build a career around it, we have several open internships for writing and social media. If either of these seem like something that would interest you, please don’t hesitate to fill out an application. Click the button below if you attend a University that is affiliated with Handshake, if not, send an email to info@thenuancemagazine.com with a copy of your resume, three writing samples (if applying to the writer’s internship), and a brief paragraph explaining why you think you would be a good fit for the job and a strong addition to the Nuance family.

freelance writers and guest bloggers

At the time, we cannot offer financial compensation for written work, however, we will review any journalism pitches sent to charles@thenuancemagazine.com. If we like what you are working with, we can work out something to help promote your writing and perhaps slide in a discount for some merch on top…

Writing Internship

The Social Media team is the face of everything The Nuance Magazine represents and executes. Our team strikes the perfect balance of thoughtful content and eye-catching headlines that gives our audience and readers everything they need to know to navigate a fast-paced culture.

Nuance is looking for a creative, concise writer that has a passion for participating in cultural conversations that span music genres, communities, and arts. The ideal candidate will be focused on stories that have the potential to shape culture and the creative process. We encourage interns to think about the intersection of our three main topics of music, lifestyle, and art. We want someone who understands the music landscape, its history, and the big trends and narratives guiding it.
