Remi Wolf has done it again. Her first album in 2019, "You're A Dog!" is a perfect album for you Nuance readers to devour this afternoon, if you know what I mean. However, her latest release "Woo!" doesn't let off the gas pedal either. The Bay area born, LA-based superstar has figured out the recipe for writing a delicious song. Her catalog is a hymnal of Pop, RnB, Rock, Psych, and more. Yet, she finds a way to blend all of these genres into her own personal lane called Remi Wolf. "Woo!" doesn't stray from this recipe either. The song opens with a saturated keyboard melody that stands as the backbone of the song. She then chimes in with her authoritative yet ethereal voice posing these thoughtful questions, "Woo! Love...where does it go? And do you wake up without any control?". What's unique about this tune is the structure of the song. It's structured like a modern love, a little bit chaotic, but something we all get along with. As the song continues, she dynamically moves up and down her vocal range, perfectly meshing with a thick bassline and sweet strings. The effects she adds during transitions between parts of the song also add another level. By the way, her aesthetic is going to be the next wave of fashion.
