Vans has launched their ‘Musican’s Wanted’ global competition to spotlight undiscovered artists and award the chance to share the stage with the notorious Anderson .Paak. The digital music competition is open to artists of all genres around the world. Competition finalists will earn exclusive Vans products, fender gear, Spotify playlisting and more. The idea for this competition grew in 2015 with its official launch 5 years later. The infamous sneaker and clothing company holds up their stance on their “Off The Wall” culture by providing a chance for artists just starting out to get featured. The curators behind this project are looking for fresh and new talent. Vans continues to push their limits by providing the opportunity for artists anywhere to be able to be involved on a much larger scale.
Special guest judges such as J.I.D, and Bohan Phoenix will highlight the experience before the two join forces with Grammy award winning artist, Anderson .Paak and European based singer-songwriter Nilüfer Yanya, to review the top 5 artists of each region. Three artists will be chosen to perform at the Vans Musician’s Wanted virtual concert that will be held his December. One artist will win the ultimate Vans set up along with the opportunity to perform with Anderson .Paak as the opening act in 2021.
