Happy Nuance Friday and Happy Friday the 13th! We hope you’re enjoying this spooky season and celebrating with a flight on the ole broomstick or a ouija board night with the homies. In case you needed some new music for the exorcism or the costume party, we’ve picked some our favorite new tunes from this week’s musical harvest. 

telly – EPISODE 1 EP

New York-based electric synth-pop bad telly release debut EP EPISODE 1. The impressive four track showcase displays the duo’s propensity for weaving textured, irresistible synthpop dreams with analog palettes of glitchy noise, gorgeous synth production and catchy melodies. Featuring Burlington, VT native Ashley Claude on vocals and LA-native Max Solomonon guitar, synths, and sfx (both are producers), were excited for what next the two have in store. 

Babyfxce E – The X Tape 

The latest rising Flint, MI rap star Babyfxce E drops highly anticipated mixtape The X Tape, delivering funny one-liners over eccentric Detroit-style production. The tape features hits like “Hot Outside,” “Today,” “Rich Talking (feat. Babytron),” and the local posse cut “Flint Flow” featuring Michigan rappers RMC Mike, KrispyLife Kidd, Louie Ray, Bfb Da Packman, and YSR Gramz.

Westside Gunn – And Then U Pray For Me

Legendary Buffalo MC and Griselda Records co-founder Westside Gunn releases his 5th and apparently final studio album And Then U Pray For Me

Gayle – “I don’t sleep as good as I used to”

GRAMMY® Award-nominated Nashville singer/songwriter and former Nuance Cover Artist Gayle shares head-banging, guitar-centric new single “I don’t sleep as good as I used to.” Gayle will be performing at Nashville, TN’s famed Basement East on November 15.

Knox – I’m so good at being alone EP 

Nashville singer-songwriter Knox finds a happy middle between pop and rock on his new EP I’m so good at being alone. Check out his recent interview with Nuance here

Deux Visages – “Tethered” 

Miami-based band Deux Visages shares the latest of their colorful blend of garage rock, shoegaze, indie pop, surf sounds on new single “Tethered.”

Lord Apex – “Phoenix (feat. Freddie Gibbs)” 

UK hip-hop trailblazer Lord Aex starts a new chapter for his promising career with “Phoenix (feat. Freddie Gibbs)” an upbeat, mellow collaboration with one of the best rappers in the game. 

Kemuel – “Alone” 

Rising Nigerian pop artist and producer Kemuel shares new music video for hit single “Alone.”
