Fun fact: Josephine Groves Holloway was born today in 1898. Holloway went on to found the first unofficial Girl Scout troop for African American girls, working for two decades to have her troops recognized by the Nashville Girl Scout Council.

Lily Williams –  How The Story Ends

Talented UK-born, LA-based singer/songwriter Lily Williams releases her debut project How The Story Ends via Overall Recordings/Atlantic Records. After finding a fanbase through her mood-board tik tok featuring her dreamy vocals and poignant lyrics, Williams puts together a coherent and dynamic showcase of her gift for hitting the listener right in the feels. 

BLXST – “Just For Clarity 2” 

West Coast Crooner and Former Nuance Cover Artist BLXST drops new EP Just For Clarity 2, following up the 2021 breakout EP with a sequel that highlights how far he’s come in the LA Music scene with features from Mustard, Terrace Martin, Roddy Ricch, and Bay Area representative Larry June.

On her first release of 2023, “everybody hates me,” Grammy Nominated singer/songwriter and former Nuance Cover Artist Gayle delivers feisty yet intimate vocals over a riff-driven punk-rock track.

Groundbreaking alternative singer-songwriter/model/artist Sam Austins, who Pusha T described as “a mix between My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and Prince,” returns with “Keep You Company.”
