Nashville streetwear brand Hutson drops debut collection

Nashville streetwear brand Hutson drops their debut collection this Saturday, featuring a curated line that emphasizes uniqueness and their motto of limitless expression. Conceived in early 2023 by owner Cole Potter, the brand aims to inspire people to embrace their authentic selves and harness individuality through distinct designs that feel personal, not mass-produced. Their first collection features four shirts, six hats, and a canvas tote–available 9/23 at 11 AM on Hutson’s website.

To ensure their mission of quality over quantity, Hutson will offer their collections through limited drops. They also manufacture their clothing in Los Angeles rather than outsource for cheaper production. Instead, Hutson’s careful process stresses meaning and significance with every individual item they create, hoping that each becomes a personally cherished symbol of the brand. The first collection features a diverse array of designs that express both colorful nostalgia and sleek minimalism.

Originally from Tullahoma, TN, Potter is part of the emerging cultural scene that’s helping uplift Nashville’s appeal for creatives outside the dominant country music export. Starting the year with just an idea, Potter has turned that desire of personal fashion interest and lust for a creative escape into a fast, up-and-coming brand here in Nashville. Already gearing up for his second and third collection, Potter is clearly driven by his passion to create. He’ll be celebrating the debut collection with the Hutson Launch Party this Friday, hosted at The Virgin Hotel’s Pool Club in Nashville.
