Atlanta singer Jeven Reliford provides vital r&b energy on his new single “Say Dat Then” featuring Anne Marie. The track brings back 2000s r&b duet vibes over a piano and 808 instrumental. Reliford shows off his effortless range and smooth delivery before making way for Annie Marie to accentuate her side. Both express their desire for a true ride-or-die with a romantic back and forth stressing the importance of meaning what you say.
The long-awaited single follows up his debut single “Butterflies,” as Reliford was forced on hiatus by the pandemic soon afterward. “Say Dat Then” marks a maturation in his voice and songwriting from the first single, hopefully, a sign of more. The single, out today via Music the Label/Atlantic Records, comes with a sultry music video that pans between the two singer’s seductive back and forth.
