Briston Maroney announces his very own music festival with an accompanying new single, “Paradise.” The Paradise Music Festival will run from 11/3-11/4 at the Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville and feature Indigo DeSouza, The Greeting Committee, Sunflower Bean, Annie DiRusso, Cece Coakley, and Canvasback labelmates MICHELLE–with Maroney himself headlining. Curating the lineup and organizing partnerships with local charities and organizations, the festival looks to provide thoughtfully curated tunes and some feel-good indie fun in the music city, so it’s one to mark on the calendar for sure!

Coming off the success of his debut album Sunflower and its deluxe release in the spring, the former Nuance cover artist isn’t breaking a stride, delivering a refreshing, upbeat ode to needing love as you get older on “Paradise,” a track written by Briston with production by Andrew Sarlo (Big Thief, Bon Iver, Dijon) with additional production by Julian Cruz (Dominic Fike, Kenny Mason, Ambar Lucid). Its sun-drenched sound and uplifting energy are perfect for the festival stage.

The Knoxville-native has been making his home state proud, becoming one of the most exciting voices in alternative folk-rock since breaking onto the scene with his 2018 EP Carnival, and it’s great to see him giving back to the Nashville community with more than just his excellent tunes.
