We know what’s popping on Valentine's day: Tame Impala's new album. For others, it’ll be the top of your carton of ice cream as you dig into the next episode of your favorite TV Show. On the real though, today is about love and loving other human beings. It shouldn’t matter that you are in a relationship or not. So, love yourself a little extra today and spread it everywhere you go.

As for us, we are going to spread the love to this new clothing company based here in NYC. The company, started by artist Jovan Clark, is called 4NY and here is a link to their already active Instagram: @4nyclothing. Their moniker is a salute to the city that gave them a chance, NYC, but also a salute to their mission: ANY is to provide custom pieces and give clothing a second chance to help decrease the impact the clothing industry is having on our Earth. How amazing for all those sustainable fashionistas out there?

In addition to being about love, this company will list all of their pieces on their website, which is launching on February 20th, in measurements. Yeah, you read that right. They are implementing this concept because a lot of the streetwear folks wear what they like instead of only shopping within the traditional means of men’s and women’s sizes. This allows the full breadth of their inventory to be accessible to all those that fit the measurements. Straight from the mouth of the creator, Jovan Clark,” Clothing is a form of expression, so why limit it? We wanna see what you do with it. So, if you think you'd look dope in something you like, then buy dat ish. This clothing is forever who fits it.” Jovan’s further plans for the startup include: creating a flow of second-hand clothing coming in and out of their inventory and to honor all of the custom pieces requests that keep piling up in Jovan’s DMs.

The team at Nuance can really get behind this kind of fashion and support the movement that reduces the fashion industry’s carbon footprint. So go out there and do your part in saving the world and spreading love, but do it the sustainable style way.

The site will be live Feb. 20th, 2020. But an early release will be available to everyone following the Insta before Feb. 18th. In addition to following the Insta, use the code: NuanceMag for $5 off your first order next week.
