As fans eagerly count down the days until the release of artist Pink Sweat$’s new album Pink Planet on Friday, February 12, he began teasing them with a clip from his music video for his new song “Heaven.” Both the song and music video will be released on Monday, February 8. The short clip on Pink Sweat$’s Instagram gave fans a glimpse of the aesthetic of his upcoming album, which appears to be geared towards love. The release date of the new album, just two days before Valentine’s Day, also seems to point to a love-oriented album. Pink Sweat$’s songs have consistently carried a theme focusing on pure love, so an album revolving around love would be right up his alley.

Pink Sweat$ conveys his vulnerable lyrics through a heartfelt mix of Pop and R&B. This past year, Pink Sweat$ released his EP titled The Prelude. The six songs on The Prelude deal with topics ranging from love to racial injustice, so those topics will likely carry into his new album Pink Planet.
